KD Driver Training is a locally owned and operated business. The business is owned by Gail Kebbel, an Aldborough resident, with a long standing history in the community. Another West Elgin resident, Marcel deWit assists KD Driver Training in providing a portion of the in-car training.
Gail is a highly experienced driving instructor with many years of experience in training both new and experienced drivers. Gail is skilled at teaching driving to students young, middle-aged, and seniors, as well as English, and non-English speaking drivers. Gail uses a variety of proven methods to individualize lessons to the student, and to their progress.
Gail is a qualified instructor for both the in-car and the classroom sections of the Ministry of Transportation - Approved Beginner Driver Education Course. She is qualified to perform driver competency assessments under the Road Safety Educators Association
Keeping current with the latest advances in safety and training is important to Gail. She is an active member of the Road Safety Educators Association and continues to update her skills and knowledge through courses.
Marcel has been a qualified instructor for the in-car training since 2001 and in the summer of 2002 he completed the Ontario Safety League’s Advanced In-car Instructor’s Course. Marcel is also a Class A mechanic.
